Donald "Bummy" Bonnstetter

February 24, 1936 - March 18, 2012

Donald "Bummy" Bonnstetter age 76, of Humboldt passed away Sunday March 18th 2012 at the Treasure Coast Hospice Center in Fort Pierce, Florida.Services will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 11:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church in West Bend with burial to follow in the West Bend Cemetery. Visitation is from 9:30 AM until service time at the church. Harris Funeral Home of West Bend is in charge of arrangements. Donald, the son of the late Michael and Caroline Bonnstetter was born Febuary 24, 1936 in West Bend Iowa. Donald was united in marriage with Beverly Kay December 31, 1959 and was a resident of the Humboldt area since 1973. He began his career in road construction, owned several businesses, and ended his career at Blacktop Services in Humboldt. Donald was an avid fisherman, loved socializing and was a wonderful father and friend. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Survivors include his wife Beverly of Phoenix Arizona, Daughter Julie (husband Lon Kelling, children Kelsey fiancé Jon Tilton, Kayla, and Cameron) of Mankato, Minnesota. Daughter Jill (husband Brett Kampen, children Madison and Mitchell) of Humboldt. Daughter Jennifer (husband Franklin Guglietta, and son Gabe) of Port Saint Lucie Florida. Daughter Jocelyn Bonnstetter (fiance Michael Riley) of Minneapolis Minnesota, siblings Margaret Strueker, Rolland, Michael, Jeanne Berte, and JoAnne Landolt. He was preceded in death by siblings Cloy, Melvin, Mildred Strueker, Marvin, Paul, Mary Crawford, and Joseph Friends are invited to the church basement in West Bend for a time of fellowship immediately following the burial.
