James Marion Keeble

January 21, 1942 - August 18, 2008

James Marion Keeble, 66 of West Bend died Monday August 18, 2008 at the Pocahontas Community Hospital. Services will be held Thursday, 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, West Bend with Rev. Thomas J. Hart officiating. Burial will be in the West Bend Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home in West Bend, where a vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM. James Keeble the son of James William Keeble and Velma Cutting was born January 21, 1942 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was raised and received his education in Rolfe, IA. On November 20, 1965 he was united in marriage with Patricia Schafer at Sts. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church in West Bend. The couple lived the majority of their lives in West Bend. Jim worked at the West Bend Creamory, the West Bend Elevator Company, and for 25 years at Protein Resources. Survivors include his wife Patricia, West Bend,IA, Daughters: Kimberly Keeble(Rob) of Pocahontas, IA, Milissa Newton (Eric Solum) of Adel, IA, Tessie Hoch (Robert) of West Bend, IA, and Annette Kenney of Mason City, IA, five grandchildren, brothers and sisters: Stan Lowe (Mary) of Bancroft,IA, Delbert Lowe of Panora, IA, Marlene Chaloupka (Greg) of Yale, IA, Jennie Brynestad of Des Moines, IA, Jim Lowe(Madonna) of Audubon, IA, Bill Keeble of Indianola, IA, and stepmother, Lucille Keeble of Guthrie Center, IA. Jim loved fishing and enjoyed painting ceramics. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Jena and Judy and granddaughter Kaylin.
