Mary Katherine Wilson

West Bend...Mary Katherine Wilson, 64 of West Bend died Wednesday, March 2, in Britt, Iowa. Services will be held Tuesday, 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, West Bend with burial to follow in the West Bend Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-7 PM Monday at the church where a parish vigil service will be held at 7 PM. Mary Katherine (Gunville), the daughter of Raymond and Katherine (McKana) Gunville was born May 21, 1946 in Hibbing MN where she was raised and recieved her education, graduating in 1964. On May 12, 1978 she was united in marriage to Dennis Wilson in Grand Rapids, MN. They resided in Grand Rapids and Mandan, ND, before retiring to West Bend in 2008. Family and friends were very important Mary. She participated in a variety of sports including curling, bowling, and a life time of golf. Since moving to West Bend 3 years ago she enjoyed bridge club, golf, laides Aid, drama Club and the Planning and Zoning Commission. She had also begun to work at the Village Pharmacy in West Bend. Mary enjoyed doing a variety of crafts including quilting, crocheting and painting. She love to spend time with her grandchildren and hosted "Grandma Camp" in the summers. Her survivors inlcude her husband Dennis, children: Bob(Kim) Kapla of Green Bay WI, Joe(Jodi) Kapla, International Falls, MN, Christine (John) Van Kempen, Elbow Lake, MN, Denda and Dean Gellert-Evans, Estherville, IA, Deb (Steve) Bueltel, Superior, IA and Daren Wilson, Jackson, MN, 18 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, brother John Gunville, Dunedin, Fl, and sister Barb(Jim) Koschak, Hibbing, MN. Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
