Nancy Lee Jolliffe

July 11, 1937 - August 22, 2011

Nancy Lee Jolliffe, 74 of Gilmore City died August 22 at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City. Services are 11:00 AM Friday at First Lutheran Church Gilmore City with burial to follow at Marble Valley Cemetery. Visitation is from 4:30-7:30 PM Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, Gilmore City. Nancy Lee (Wolcott) the daughter of George and LaVelle (Godden) Wolcott, was born July 11, 1937 on the family farm east of Bradgate where she was raised and received her education. On September 5, 1954 she was united in marriage with Roger Cofer and they had a son Ricky (Eva) Cofer of Gilmore City. They later divorced. She married Thomas Jolliffe on February 6, 1958 and from this union was born two children, Jerry of Enumclaw, Washington and Tammy (Jay) Jergens of Gilmore City,IA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, brother Ivan Wlcott, sister Marjorie Marchant and grandson Mark Jergens. Nancy worked at the Gilmore City Cafe and operated it from 2000-2007. She enjoyed life and loved spending time with friends and family. There was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She will be loved and missed by many! Nancy was a member of New Covenant Christian Church in Fort Dodge, IA.
